The length this movie resorts to for comedy is…not hot.

With Porkys, Meatballs and many other irreverent sex-romp comedies coming before it, Hot Resort has a problem living up to those giants. It feels as if it’s throwing every gag in the book against the wall and seeing if any joke, no matter the tone, will stick. This results in many misogynistic, racist and frankly unfunny attempts at humor that made us saltier than the soup being advertised (Watch the movie for that reference. Or don’t. I’m just a blog post. I can’t force you)
